Funding

There are two major funding sources for the chapter: membership fee and the Honors Council.  The membership fee is limited since we are currently charging $70 per person, of which about $57 goes to the national.  The difference becomes the chapter revenue that is mostly used to buy supplies and food for activities such as inductions and general meetings.

To qualify for funding from the Honors Council, we must participate in Honors Council organized activities.  The amount of the funding is based on our participation of the activities. For every activity we participate, points are earned.  The more points earned, the more funding for the subsequent semester.  Honors Council's funding is much more significant and can come to several hundred or even a thousand dollars, which we can use for sending our members to the national conclaves (a conference of all Chi Epsilon chapters), regional conclaves, field trips, chapter T-short, etc.  For more information on Honors Council funding, click here.
