DESCRIPTION: WDNA-FM (88.9) is public radio station, which broadcasts cultural, educational and informational programs in five languages.
OPPORTUNITIES: Service-learners can assist in the entering of membership and music library data, planning special events projects, computer programming, and the production/writing of press releases and public service announcements.
HOURS NEEDED/SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
COMMENTS: There are limited openings for student volunteers. Phone Maggie Pelleya to set up an orientation as soon as possible.

WIDELIFE CARE CENTER, 3200 SW 4 Avenue, Ft. Lauderdale, FL

DESCRIPTION: Functions as a hospital and rehabilitation center for injured and orphaned wildlife.
OPPORTUNITIES: Volunteers are needed to clean animal cages, feed the animals and spend time with them during their recovery.
HOURS NEEDED: M-F, 9:00am - 4:30pm; Sat and Sun, 9:00am - 3:00pm
