DESCRIPTION: Provides training and support to mentally retarded
adults to enable them to live as freely and independently as possible.
OPPORTUNITIES: Work with clients in the botanical nursery, assist
on field trips, in Special Olympics training, arts & crafts, and on
Saturday outings.
HOURS NEEDED: M-Sat., 9:00am-3:00pm.
COMMENTS: Orientation is provided on the first visit. Training
is provided by the staff and teachers on an ongoing basis.

HOURS NEEDED: Meals are served from 9:00am - 11:00am, Tuesday through

COVENANT

DESCRIPTION: Short term crisis shelter for homeless and runaway
adolescents under 21 years old, including teen parents and their children.
Open intake provides shelter, food, clothing, medical attention, referrals
24 hours per day, weekends, and holidays.
HOURS NEEDED: Call for hours and opportunities.
COMMENTS: Minimum age is 21. There are no short-term opportunities.
