Back Members and we would like to wish everyone a Great Spring Semester
in 2008 
This Year's Goals
Our goal this year is to promote awareness and engage in activism surrounding Reproductive Rights Issues. The majority of events regarding these issues will be held in the Fall and then be a introductory platform for our goal in the Spring, which is to promote awareness and activism concerning Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence Issues, and Education. This Year Iota Iota Iota is growing in size and we are excited to bring some new ideas and events to FIU.
Iota Iota Iota members will be preparing more than 1,000 pieces of fundraising mailing for the Women's Emergency Network, in Fall 2007 and in Spring 2008. This will aide girls and women with financial need faced with unwanted pregnancies.
Iota Iota Iota will be holding its WEN Mailing Collection for Spring on Feb. 17th at 11am. This event will be held at the Coral Gables Country Club i n the prestigious library. With close access to the pool outside. Food and beverages will be provided, bring yourself prepared for fun in the sun. (Weather Permitting)
Triota will be conducting a special project with Lotus House, a community based organizationwhich assists women and children in need. This shelter is unique- and creative. It offers a holistic approach to addressing these women and infants most in need. They offer a program which cares for the mind, body and spirit.
Feb. 23, 2008 Iota Iota Iota will be attending a YAT trainingPresented: SEX, POWER, and POLITICS a Conversation with Jackie Payne in Fall 2007
This event was a great success!! Almost 100 people attended!
TOY DRIVE with KIDS IN DISTRESS: Another Great Success!!!
The Kids In Distress Toy Drive in Winter of 2007, was another great success!!! Because of the donations that FIU students were able to make, along with some of our community members these disadvantaged children were able to enjoy their Holiday Season with lots of presents, and love from FIU's Tri-Iota efforts!
They Thank you all, and so does Triota!!
