| The
Inter-Sectoral Unit for Tourism and the Center for Tourism and Technology at Florida
International University have established a collaborative relationship to cunduct research
on Incentives for Investment in Tourism in the Caribbean, Central, and South
America. The purpose of this endeavor is to collect and organize information related
to incentives that promote and facilitate tourism sector developments. Each member state has been requested to provide official materials pertaining to their country's existent policies and incentives which promote national and international sustainable tourism developments, and particularly those relating to the advocacy and support of investments from the public and private sectors, and from national and international sources, including laws, tax incentives/exemptions, soft loans, grants, etc. |
