| This was the first American cargo ship to dock in the Japanese occupied city of Tacloban, Philippine Islands, when the allies returned in 1944. At this time, Captain Charles A. Jarvis was Master of this ship. His recollections of serving on the SS Adoniram Judson, along with scanned copies of original vessel damage and after action reports are available here. |
