Previously, twelve years, Fellow Geologist at the Savannah River Site, South Carolina, and 10 years oil and gas exploration. Provide technical expertise to DOE on carbon sequestration, methane hydrates, gas exploration and hydrogen. Responsible for the transfer of petroleum exploration and development technology to environmental characterization, geologic hazard analysis, remediation and applied research. Responsible for the geological and geophysical characterization of unconsolidated coastal plain sediments. Adjunct and Lecturer at the University of South Carolina-Aiken and Clemson University.
