FIU Relay for Life has received statewide recognition as one of the top 10 Relays in the state (out of 400 events)! Locally, the Dade County Unit of the American Cancer Society awarded the 2008 FIU Relay event chairs, Carmen Murphy and Barbie Erched, the Youth Volunteers of the Year. Dr. Beverly Dalrymple, FIU Relay Advisor and Director of the Center for Leadership & Service, received the Exceptional Achievement Award.
