This past month, the Division of Student Affairs, with the College of Education, hosted “SAGA Days”. The Student Affairs Graduate Association (SAGA) Visit Days is an annual event intended to recruit graduate students who are interested in pursuing their graduate degree in Higher Education, while holding a graduate assistantship in Student Affairs at the University. Potential students from all over the country, and other countries, visited the campus to get a taste of graduate student life at FIU.
During the three-day event, candidates had the opportunity to interview with various
departments, attend classes within the program, and experience the Miami
city life and culture. The visit was hosted by the Student Affairs Graduate Association, who coordinated the schedule for all of our visitors.
Nineteen individuals attended the event and participated in the interview process. Thank you to all the SAGA members who helped make SAGA Days 2008 such a success. |
