Determination of Grade:

1. Three closed book exams (100 points each). 

Formulas and tables will be provided. Calculators are necessary. Make sure the calculator has a square root key.

** If you think you have a valid excuse for missing an exam, you MUST ask me for validation ** PRIOR to exam time. If deemed valid, you will be allowed to take a comprehensive makeup ** exam the week preceding the final examination.

Any suspected cheating on examinations will be dealt with according to the procedures outlined University's Code of Academic Integrity.
 

2. Several homework sets (60-80 points total):

Three homework sets from the text will be collected and graded. 

Two or three SPSS homework sets will be collected and graded. 

(If you have another statistical software package you would rather use, check with me first to make sure it has all the procedures we will use). 
 

3. Grading scales:  90-100 A, 80-89 B, 70-79 C, 60-69 D, 59 or below F.
