Ranking of minerals in order of their resistance to chemical weathering. Example of chemical weathering and the product of different types of chemical weathering e.g., hydration of K-feldspar produces kaolinite, red iron oxide is produced by oxidation etc…

Regolith, different soil horizons and their properties, Different types of soil, the climate which produces them. Frost wedging, exfoliation.
