Personal Philosophy of Education
My personal view of education is changing as I learn more in both urban and special education.  Currently, I believe that all children can be successful learners, when we provide the right environments for learning.  Inclusion, when it benefits the child, is something I support, but I feel that full inclusion of every child is not always in the best educational interest of some children.  Lastly, I believe that although we may not save every child in an academic sense, if we do our sincere utmost best in combination with striving to increase our knowledge of sound educational practices; we will make a difference to many.

Future Professional Goals
Currently, my professional goal is to excel in my Doctoral program, and to maximize the opportunity I have been provided as a Graduate Research Assistant in the College of Education.  In the future I would like to work in higher education, or in some administrative capacity developing and coordinating special needs programs for either urban or international programs.
