Personal Philosophy of Education
My philosophy about education is that it can come from all angles.  The communities that our students live in, the families and rich history of our students, and the experiences that we as educators bring to the table all impact what goes on in a classroom.  I also believe all students have the right to a high quality education regardless of their background, ethnicity, or abilities, and teachers have the right to be prepared to provide this high quality education.

Future Professional Goals
I would love to teach preservice educators in helping them be more prepared to educate students that are not only culturally, linguistically, and socioeconomically diverse, but who also have various disabilities.  I would also like to create some form of a unified teacher education/preparation program so that ALL teachers are aware and equipped for ALL types of students that will show up in their classrooms.
