Personal Philosophy of Education
Education should promote and become an environment where a teacher can model and a student can explore.  I feel that if teachers are provided with the appropriate tools for enhancing their student’s strengths and creativity they will feel confident in exploring new areas in teaching and be innovative in their techniques.  In the process, students will be empowered to become productive members of their schools and communities.  The excitement and love of new discoveries will be instilled in them so that they may become life long learners in the areas that interest them.

Future Professional Goals
I enjoy very much making a positive and influential difference in the lives of others.  At this point in my life, I feel the field of higher education is a direction I would like to explore.  However, I also have an interest in early intervention and the eligibility process.  I would like to be part of the team that can create a nationally accepted, appropriate identification criterion for students in need of special education.  I have so many interests; I find it hard to narrow them down.  My true goal is simply just to “make a difference.”
