The Florida Nu chapter of the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity was chartered at Florida International University on January 17, 1987. Since that date, SigEps have dedicated themselves to achieving the fraternity's goal: Building Balanced Leaders for America's Communities. Due to its commitment to the world renowned Balanced Man Program, the Florida Nu chapter has enjoyed unprecedented success in all areas of fraternal life including its recognition as having implemented the nations first anti-hazing, brother development program, three intramural sports cups and boasting the most initiates of any fraternal organization at the university. This success is only adding to our long tradition of fraternal leadership at FIU. SigEp not only enjoys the largest alumni base, but brothers also boast prestigious positions within the university including President, Associate Vice President for Student Affairs and head baseball coach.
