Helena Ramirez • Speaker of The Senate
The Senate Speaker is trusted with the responsibility of leading the Senate, she sits and presides over Senate meetings and sits on the University Wide Budget Committee.  Senate Speaker ensures that the Senate is fulfilling their duty of representing the interest of the student body in all university matters, locally, statewide, nationally, and internationally.

Helena Ramirez has been involved in SGA since her first day on campus.  She was intern under President Marbely Hernandez and continued to represent freshmen and sophomore voice, as a Lower Division Senator and served as Speaker Pro-Tempore within the Senate.  After being chosen as Senator of the Year, she was then elected as Senator At-Large and selected as Senate Speaker.
