The Executive Branch consists of the Student Body President, Vice President and Comptroller, Chief of Staff, as well as a 24 member Executive Cabinet. The Executive Branch is primarily in charge of handling various programs and issues on campus as well as being the liaison between the Student Body and the Florida International University Administration. All Executive powers of the Student Body shall be vested in the President of the Student Body, assisted by the Vice President and the Cabinet. The Student Body President, and Vice President are elected by a majority of the Student Body and shall serve for one academic year. The President and Vice-President select and nominate for Senate approval the members of the Executive Branch.
