In Fall 2004, I joined Department of Earth Sciences, Florida International University to begin my PhD. My research interest includes computational methods and its application in ground water hydrology. During my PhD, I have been using a recently developed computational method called Lattice Boltzmann methods for fluid flow and contaminant transport modeling in large scale heterogeneous carbonate aquifers (also called "karst" aquifers). During my Masters, I developed a semi-analytical solution for qualitative analysis of reactive contaminant transport in river with porous bed. For details about my PhD work, visit my research page.
