Material to be covered:

Sections 6.4-6.9, 71-7.7; Chapter 8 without section 6; 10.1-10.10; 11.1-11.3.

Tests and Quizzes policy:

  • There will be two (2) midterm exams worth 100 points each. The dates are TBA. There are no make-up exams. With a valid, verifiable reason for missing a test, a waiver may be granted for the missed examination.
  • One Comprehensive, mandatory final exam: The final exam is worth 150 points. The date and time are TBA. If unable to take the final exam as scheduled and with a valid, verifiable reason, one may request a make-up exam to be scheduled for the final week of the Fall 2010 semester. If rescheduling is granted, then an Incomplete grade will be assigned to the student.
  • Quizzes: Five quizzes worth 10 points each; Dates: TBA. There are no make-ups, no waivers for missed quizzes.

    Grades: Grades will be assigned on the basis of 400 points.
