What should you do in the event of an emergency or a crisis?

Registered students needing immediate attention are seen on a non-appointment emergency basis. The Counseling and Psychological Services Center recognizes and responds emergency situation that occur when the Center is opened. If the emergency occurs between the hours listed below the student should walk-in or call the center.

Monday-Friday: 8 a.m-5 p.m

North Campus WUC 139, 919-5305
Monday-Friday: 8 a.m-5 p.m

If a student who is on campus needs emergency assistance when the Center is closed, the student should call FIU's Department of Public Safety at University Park Campus 348-2991 or North Campus 919-5911.

If the student is off campus; the student should call Switchboard of Miami (Dade County) 358-HELP (4357) or First Call For Help of Broward County 467-6333.
