What should you do in the event of an emergency or a crisis?
Registered students needing immediate attention are seen on a non-appointment emergency basis. The Counseling and Psychological Services Center is available to respond to emergency situations that occur when the Center is opened. If the emergency occurs between the hours listed below the student should walk-in or call the center.

If a student who is on campus needs emergency assistance when the Center is closed, the student should call FIU's Department of Public Safety at University Park Campus 305-348-2991 or BBC 305-919-5911.
If the student is off campus the student should call the Switchboard of Miami of Dade County 358-HELP (4357) or First Call For Help of Broward County 954-467-6333.
