Student Members shall meet the above mentioned minimum criteria for
membership to Psi Chi National Honor Society. Listed are the
requirements for Active Status within the FIU Psi Chi Chapter. In
accordance with Honors Council (Ruling Body of all FIU Honor
Societies), Honor Societies must participate in events and
activities set forth by the university in order to receive funding.
This is achieved by maintaining active membership within each Honor
Society. This requires that a participation log sheet be kept by
each organization for their members. Upon graduation, Active Student
Members within each FIU organization are entitled to obtain FIU
Honors Council's Stole and Medallion and to gain special recognition
during the graduation ceremony. At this time a record is sent by
each society (Active Status participation log sheets) to Honors
Council to determine if such recognition is warranted.
·
Any further
information in regards to these requirements may be obtained at the
general meetings. A listing of all future events may be found in the
event calendar.
