The weather station is a Vantage Pro Plus system from Davis Instruments. The station and accompanying web site was incorporated as part of FIU's Geoscope program and funded by a grant from the National Science Foundation. The data from this station will be used in estimating major water balance parameters such as rainfall and evaporation rates for the FIU campus and south Florida. The data uploaded to this site using the Davis Weather Link Software is stored in 30-minute intervals.  The data is stored as a text file with a tab delimiter and is best viewed in a spreadsheet so column headings line up with the data.. The data can be downloaded by clicking on the year:  2004  2005  2006 2007 2008
