Admission Requirements
Admission to the program requires the following:
1. A bachelor's degree in political science, social sciences, or allied fields.
2. A minimum score of 1000 (verbal plus quantitative) on the Graduate Record Examination (www.gre.org ), or a minimum score of 450 on the Examen de Admisión a Estudios de Posgrado ( www.ets.org/exadep ), which is a new a Spanish-language test that is similar to the GRE but which uses a different scale. Either examination is acceptable, but students will not be considered for admission until they present either a GRE score or an EXADEP score. There can be no exceptions to this policy.
3. Fluency in both Spanish and English.
4. A personal interview with the Academic Coordinator of the program.
Please note that students may take up to 12 credit hours (four courses) as non-degree-seeking students, although this does not guarantee subsequent admission to the program. All of the above requirements are minimum requirements and do not guarantee acceptance of any applicant.
