The first step in Building Better Men is creating balanced scholars.
No one can make the transition from high school to college easily, but
Pi Kappa Phi has launched a revolutionary Collegiate Success Program to
help our members bridge the gap and succeed inside and outside of the classroom.
The Collegiate Success Program is a written curriculum that is taught to
all of our new members by a faculty member who is paid by Pi Kappa Phi
to serve as our chapter's Academic Coach. New members are also taught the
importance of service and Push America,
attend a formal ettiquette dinner, and are taught time management and study
skills.
Balance is necessary to survive college, and Pi Kappa Phi offers the tools
students need to excel.

A
fraternity is about more than what goes on in the classroom every day.
President John F. Kennedy said that 50 percent of a man's education comes
from what he does outside of the classroom. Pi Kappa Phi expects our members
to be active leaders on campus and
in the community. Our chapter brings in special guest speakers and hosts
leadership skills workshops, as well as teaching fiscal responsibility.
Because of this belief, the Fraternity also provides leadership training
opportunities that are unparalleled in the university world. Every year,
Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity presents the highest corporate-level leadership
conferences available in America. Our Leadership Institute features the
Covey Leadership Center's presentation of Covey's 7 Habits of Highly
Effective People. Our brothers recieve this leadership training which
costs Fortune 500 companies millions of dollars, for the priceof lunch,
instead of the corporate rate.
As
our members excel in the classroom, they learn skills that will enable
them to lead great men.

Graduating
from college with good grades is only a small part of fraternity and college.
The true reason for fraternity and college is to prepare better men for
successful lives.
More than 90,000 Pi Kappa Phi brothers have graduated from college and
gone on to become great role models for our youth. These men have committed
to mentor our undergraduate members and to help them make the jump into
the real world. Our brothers attend workshops that help them create a resume,
interview successfully, dress for success, and market themselves.
Our members attend Career and Life Planning seminars, where they are taught
the expertise they need to leave college ready to succeed. Brothers are
taught real skills in career development and life planning seminars, such
as John Spence's Life 401: Creating a Life Strategy.
Since college is a first step towards a successful and professional life,
Pi Kappa Phi implements programs that are geared toward making is members
marketable and real-world savvy.

When
a man joins Pi Kappa Phi, he is molding friendships that will last a lifetime.
Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity, however, as you can tell, is much more than a
social fraternity. Pi Kappa Phi is also a leadership, service, and academic
society focused on helping our members make the most of their collegiate
experiences and their lives.
Through our leadership conferences, career seminars, and scholarship programming,
Pi Kappa Phi is building better men - who are leaders on campus, and who
graduate to become leaders in their communities.
Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity gives young men the tools they need to have a successful
collegiate experience.
Pi Kappa Phi is truly an experience of a lifetime. Everyday, on campuses
across America, just like ours, our fraternity unselfishly strives to achieve
one simple goal:
We Build Better
