Welcome to
the FIU Philosophy Department’s website. We offer both a minor and a
bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and we also coordinate an
interdisciplinary Master’s of Arts in Liberal Studies program (MALS). The
department hosts a regular talk series. Check back for department news and information about

The
Philosophy faculty is actively engaged in research. Their work is published in
some of the highest impact journals in the field: The Journal of Philosophy,
Philosophy and Phenomenological Research, Philosophical Quarterly, Synthese,
Philosophy of Science, Ethics, Hypatia, Continental Philosophy Review,
Kant-Studien and
Journal of Aesthetics and Art Criticism, among others. Please follow the
