All Parent & Family Weekend events will take place on the University Park Campus

This year’s schedule incorporates many of our Homecoming Week traditions into Parent & Family Weekend, providing you and your family with the opportunity to share in the excitement of one of FIU’s largest traditions! The event schedule for Parent & Family Weekend is as follows:

Friday, November 7, 2008:

6pm - Homecoming Parade around University Park (UP) Campus
7pm - Parent & Family Weekend Barbecue in the UP Housing Quad, followed by evening entertainment - Hypnotist Michael C. Anthony

Saturday, November 8:

7am - Interfraternity Council’s 5K Fun Run/Walk around UP Campus
11am - Student Affairs Brunch
1-4pm - Various receptions and events hosted by student organizations and university offices
4-7pm - The FIU Experience - official Homecoming Tailgate at the newly renovated and improved FIU Stadium
7pm - Homecoming Football game - Golden Panthers vs. Arkansas State

Sunday, November 9:

Various receptions and events hosted by student organizations and university offices
