We welcome you and your family to join us for Homecoming and Parent & Family Weekend 2008! Three registration packages are available to allow you and your family to customize your weekend accordingly.

Panther Package: Includes all of the weekend’s events, excluding the IFC 5K Family Fun Run & Walk.

Gold Package: Includes all Friday & Sunday events.

Blue Package: Includes all Saturday & Sunday events, aside from the IFC 5K Family Fun Run & Walk.

FIU Students may attend any of the events with their guests free of charge (excluding the IFC 5K Family Fun Run & Walk), and must present their FIU Panther ID at the entrance of each event. Students wishing to participate in the IFC 5K Family Fun Run & Walk must register for the event separately, either prior to the weekend, or the day of the event.

Please note the following information before sending your completed registration form:

• At this time, we are ONLY able to accept personal checks or money orders for payment. Please make payable to FIU and be sure to include your student’s PantherID.
• Your registration and payment must be received by Monday, November 3. Any registrations and payments received after Monday, November 3 will be accepted on a space available basis only.
• Refunds will be granted for extenuating circumstances only prior to Monday, November 3. After that date, the office will not provide refunds.

Panther Parents Association

The PANTHER PARENTS ASSOCIATION was created to strengthen the partnerships between FIU and students and their parents. The Association is the connection between the University and parents of current FIU students. By joining, you will be better informed about the academic and social environment that your student is experiencing at FIU.

The Panther Parents Association provides a forum for parents to obtain information, ask questions, and offer suggestions about university programs and services. By keeping parents involved and updated on what’s happening on campus, our hope is that students will find it easier to discover and use the resources and tools they need for collegiate success. • Annual Individual Parent Membership - $35.00
• Four Year Individual Parent Membership - $90.00
• Annual Joint Parent Membership - $55
• Four Year Joint Parent Membership - $140

Don’t forget, members of the Panther Parents Association receive a $10 discount off of their individual Parent & Family Weekend registration fee when they register for the weekend package!
