The Transfer Orientation program is a 1-day program designed to cater to each student’s specific major requirements. Therefore, students MUST register for an Orientation at the appropriate campus and on the corresponding date that their College/School is listed.

Students need to attend Orientation at the Modesto Maidique Campus if their Major falls under the following Colleges/Schools:
Arts & Architecture, Education, Engineering & Computing, Nursing & Health Sciences, Public Health, and Social Work, Justice & Public Affairs
Students need to attend Orientation at the Biscayne Bay campus if their Major falls under the following Colleges/Schools:
Hospitality Management, Journalism & Mass Communication, and Marine Biology
Students can attend Orientation at either the Modesto Maidique Campus or Biscayne Bay campuses if their Major falls under the following Colleges/Schools:

Summary of Orientation Schedule
Modesto Maidique Campus : 8:00a – 5:00p Biscayne Bay: 8:00a – 5:00p
- Orientation sessions designated “Afternoon” are from 2:00p – 7:00p
- Orientation sessions designated “Evening” are from 4:00p – 9:00p
Students will learn about campus services, meet with an Academic Advisor and plan their semester schedule, take a campus tour with their Peer Advisor, receive their student ID card, and ultimately register for classes.
What students should bring to Orientation:
- Orientation Confirmation page
- Official Immunization documentation (if not already submitted)
- Panther ID Number
- Picture ID (driver's license or other ID)
- Copies of AP, IB, or CLEP scores
- Transcripts with other college credits and the catalog from the other college (if applicable)
- Walking shoes
- Umbrella (just in case)
- A positive attitude!
