      The NOW at FIU is run out of the FIU Women's Center, located at the University Park Campus in GC 2200 and Biscayne Bay Campus in WUC 256.  For information concerning NOW please call the Women's Center (305) 348-1506.

      The purpose of this organization is to take action, to bring women into full participation in the mainstream of American society now, exercising all privileges and responsibilities thereof in truly equal partnership with men. This purpose includes, but is not limited to, equal rights and responsibilities in all aspects of citizenship, public service, employment, education and family life, and it includes freedom from discrimination because of race, color, sex, religion, national origin, age economic status, marital status, parenthood, or sexual preference or orientation.
