Dear Colleagues:

This spring we look forward to providing students with Learning Center support that is both timely and effective.

The Center provides academic enhancement resources and activities for the university community. Tutors and instructors assist students in areas such as mathematics and statistics, writing, test-taking, textbook comprehension, conversation, reading, and study-skills. Students are encouraged to explore a variety of learning methods/resources including audiovisual, computer/on-line, workshops and worksheets, and one-on-one / small-group tutorials. Special emphasis is also given to those students who want to prepare for the CLAST.

The tutoring staff and coordinators are always available to make short in-class presentations about how students might utilize our resources to enhance their academic skills and performance. Our Learning Center website is chockful of resources, printable handouts,and useful links to workshops and other material.

Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you would like us to come to your class or for further information.
