KAREN SEOANE FULLER, producer/dancer

Karen Seoane Fuller is an accomplished Educator, Concert Producer, Arts Administrator and Artist Manager. She has produced the FIU Music Festival for eight years. Prior to her current position as Assistant Professor in the School of Music and Director of the Performing Arts Management Graduate Program she worked for Pace Theatrical Group/National Broadway Touring Circuit as well as the Broward Center for the Performing Arts producing touring shows and educational outreach productions. Professor Fuller has presented papers in major national and international conferences such as the Midwest Band and Orchestra Clinic, the International Association for Jazz Educators, and the International Conference on Arts and Humanities. She has published papers as well, and is an active Producer and Arts Manager. She currently sits on the Florida Higher Education Arts Network and University Arts Council, is a member of the Association of Arts Administration Educators, Association of Performing Arts Presenters, and Chamber Music America, as well as many others. She has been awarded numerous grants for producing concerts, events and festivals. Fuller is an accomplished flamenco dancer and has studied flamenco under famed artists, Rosa Mercedes, Beatriz Gonzalez, and classical training in the studio of Martha Mahr. She has toured with Pedrito Rico, Los Chavalles de Espana and Rosita Segovia throughout Europe and the United States to the rave reviews of the press. Her most recent performance was chosen by The Miami Herald as “The Best Classical Imaginative Work and Performance of the Year (2002). The distinctive character of her performance was called “…an energetic and rhythmically exacting dancer.” The Fort Lauderdale Sun Sentinel ; “…[Fuller] had the proud spine and machine-gun rapidity in heel stomping to stir excitement.” The Miami Herald. Fuller is also the Producer and Manager of a current tour under consideration for Kaminarimon in the United States and Europe.

JEFF QUINN, Lighting/Scenery Designer


Jeff Quinn has designed scenery and/or lighting for over 600 live productions, including work for the Fulton Opera House, Pennsylvania Festival Theatre, Walt Disney Enterprises, Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, Norwegian Cruise Lines, Hilton Head Playhouse and the Kayagum Theatre in Seoul, Korea. His South Florida designs include The Diary of Anne Frank and Frozen for GableStage at the Biltmore Hotel, The Search for Signs of Intelligent Life in the Universe and White Christmas at Actors Playhouse, Little by Little at Coconut Grove Playhouse, Irma La Douce and Moon for the Misbegotten at Florida Repertory Theatre, Anything Goes at the Hirshfeld, Faith Healer for New World Repertory Company, HMS Pinafore and Romeo and Juliet for Florida Shakespeare Theatre, 2.5 Minute Ride for Mosaic Theatre, Angels in America and Love! Valour! Compassion! for New Theatre, and the opening gala of the Ziff Ballet Opera House at Carnival Center. He has also designed for the Florida Philharmonic Orchestra, the FIU Music Festival, the New World Symphony, Freddick Bratcher and Company, Maximum Dance, Ballet Theatre of Miami, Momentum Dance Company, Ballet Espanol Rosita Segovia, Ballet Etudes, Duende Ballet Espanol and Ballet Blue Ridge. Mr. Quinn is a member of United Scenic Artists (Local 829, I.A.T.S.E.) and the United States Institute for Theatre Technology. His work was included in the 2005 World Stage Design exhibit in Toronto, and will be part of the USA entry at the Prague Quadrennial 2007 World Stage Design Exhibition.

MARK NERENHAUSEN, Broward Center for the Performing Arts

Mark has been President/CEO of the Broward Center for the Performing Arts since 1998. The Broward Center is a major performing arts center with two theaters, banquet facilities and meeting rooms. The Center also manages the Parker Playhouse in Fort Lauderdale and the Miniaci Theater at
Nova Southeastern University.

He is also an Adjunct Professor at Florida International University teaching a course in Marketing the Arts and Live Music Production and at Nova Southeastern University, a course in Business Application in the Arts.

Mark presently serves on the boards of the Broward Alliance and Bluegreen Corporation and is affiliated with many professional organizations, among them the American Association of Performing Arts Presenters, International Association of Performing Arts Administrators, Performing Arts Centers
Consortium, Urban Land Institute, Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce and University of Wisconsin Alumni Association.

Prior to relocating to South Florida, Mark was the Executive Director at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center in Kahului, Hawaii.

Mark holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Russian Studies and did Graduate Studies in Russian History at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and holds a Master of Arts Degree in Arts Administration from the Graduate School of Business, University of Wisconsin-Madison.
