Concert Choir is Florida International University's premiere ensemble for vocal students. This ensemble performs sacred and secular choral repertoire of all eras from Middle Ages to the 21st century as well as arrangements of spirituals and folk music of various cultures around that globe. Concert Choir has performed at state, regional and national music conferences and is recorded on the Capstone and CRI labels. Concert Choir consists mainly of music majors in the performance degree programs. Acceptance is by AUDITION ONLY, and interested students may audition at the start of each semester. This ensemble will perform two concerts per semester and is conducted by John Augenblick.
