The Frost Art Museum has gained a respected reputation for its innovative and scholarly exhibitions. Since 1977 the Museum has presented 211 exhibitions, most of which were curated by Museum and University staff.   

The Frost Art Museum has recently begun to present exhibitions in Latin America and is working on future collaborations and partnerships with leading art institutions in these regions.  These efforts to foster cultural, educational, and artistic exchanges compliment Florida International University’s commitment to its ever-growing international audiences. 

As part of the Museum’s commitment to its educational mission and position within Florida International University, student and faculty exhibitions are coordinated each semester and have presented the work of artists who have gone on to receive significant state and national recognition, including NEA, MacArthur, Guggenheim and Florida Visual Artist Fellowships.
