This is a test to illustrate the effect of this background on the readibility of standard text in standard BLACK. The background graphic is also set against a charcoal background color (bgcolor=#444444). Many times text is rendered illegible by the background color or graphic. For that reason, among others, I have created this html file as a means of testing both black (standard) letters and white letters while using a charcoal background color (bgcolor=#444444). (If you use a dark graphic that is transparent, you need a dark background color to prevent too great a contrast between the background graphic and the background color for any color of text to be read.)
