This is a test to illustrate the effect of this background on the readibility of standard text in standard BLACK. The background graphic is also set against an off-white (#EEEEEE). Many times text is rendered illegible by the background color or graphic. For that reason, among others, I have created this html file as a means of testing both black (standard) letters and white letters while using an off-white background. (I have a particularly strong dislike of straining my eyes to read against a pure white monitor screen--even if it looks institutionally pleasing to administrators. Of course, some of these backgrounds may be worse!)
