GMID:  Global Market Information Database via Euromonitor	Current	This very large database includes both analytical reports and statistical data, especially about consumer markets.  In addition to data presentations, provides search capabilities for country, consumer, industry, and major transnational corporation information and reports.  Also provides additional web and print sources of information.
SourceOECD via OECD	Current	Provides full-text access to OECD's (Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development) monographs, periodicals, and statistical databases.  See website OECD Statistics Portal, listed below, for sources free to anyone.
TableBase via GaleNet/RDS	1996-present.	Contains published tabular statistical data on companies, industries, markets, products, and demographics. It is international in scope and covers more than 90 industries.
European Marketing Data & Statistics Green Library DESK HA1107.E87 via Euromonitor    See note →	1975/76, 1984 - 2007, annual	Broad, annual compilations of statistics on population, production, consumption, government, and many other factors.  One of the more current publications of international statistics.  Statistics are limited to European countries in one volume and include all countries but Europe in the other.  All but current issue are in the Reference stacks.  (For historical time series, see the three titles under International Historical Statistics.)  Replaced in 2007 by Global Market Information Database, GMID, above.

Compustat via Standard & Poors	Current	A huge database of financial data, company reports, performance graphs, and textual documents.  There are 2 methods of accessing this database:  1)Use the College of Business Administrations' WRDS system.  (Accounts are available to FIU students and faculty by contacting Prof. Clark Wheatley.)  The Library subscribes to the more complex Research Insight database system.  Contact the Business Librarian, Steve Morris (348-3134) to discuss access to this system.

STAT-USA via U.S. Dept. of Commerce	current	Financial and economic data, daily trade leads, important statistics and International trade documents.  Especially see USA Trade Online, the most complete source for statistcs of international business involving U.S. companies.

Commodity Year Book/ CRB Commodity Yearbook Green Library REF HF1041.C56 via Commodity Research Bureau	1970 - current	This annual begins with a description of commodity markets and statistics reflecting commodity trading in the U.S. and worldwide.  Following that introductory material, there are sections on each commodity which include a narrative description of the market and various statistics which may include (but vary) world production, price, and volume of trades.
Foreign Trade Statistics. via U. S. Bureau of the Census	Check URL for date.	This site has far more than statistics.  In addition to U.S. trade statistics and the "Automated Export System" (A.E.S.), the Reference section has various codes, including the U. S. Harmonized Tariff Schedule, NAICS, SIC, SITC, air carrier codes, country codes, etc.  The Regulations section provides various ways to access related regulations.      [caaiah]

The Municipal Year Book Green Library REF JS342.A2i52 via International City/County Managment Association	1942 - current, with gaps	This annual serves mainly as a directory of city/county government agencies and their heads, but also includes a large amount of statistics on salaries, generally and for government employees, such as pay ranges for policemen.
