Mergent Industry Review Green Library BUS HG4961.M66 via Mergent	2002 - Current	This semi-annual publication gives comparative data, rankings, and growth rates of American companies within their industries.  Includes an alphabetical index by company in the front.
Statistical Service Green Library DESK HC106.7.S75 via S&P	1980 - Current (publication dates)	A continuously updated service with biennial compilations (Security Price Index Record.)  In addition to including data on the S&P 500, industrials, transportation, utilities and financial indexes (and the composite companies), this publication includes daily data on stocks of many much more specific industries, as well as municipal and U.S. government bond yield and prices.  Also includes quarterly earnings, dividends, and p/e ratios for the industrial, transportation, utilities, financial, and composite indexes, back to 1926.

NAICS--North American Insdustry Classification System via U.S. Census Bureau	Check url date	This classification system for NAFTA countries replaced the SIC previously used by the United States.  This site allows looking up by industry/activity to find the appropriate industrial code as well as looking by code to find the definition of an industrial code.

Trade Agreements Database via Center for International Business, Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth	Check URL for date.	"The database contains the text-searchable versions of all bilateral and regional free trade agreements and customs union agreements that have been notified to the WTO as of June 1, 2003, and are in force, plus many that have not been notified to the WTO. The agreements in the database have been indexed in a format developed by CIB that is a greatly expanded version of the "standard format" for notification to the WTO."

IQS Manufacturers Directory via IQS	Current	Industrial Quick Search is a directory of manufacturers organized by product.  Once the user clicks on a product, the next page lists various companies with links to the companies' websites and descriptions of their specific products.  At the bottom of each product page is a generic description of the product and how it works, followed by further information (such as types and categories), and then a glossary of common terms used in that industry with their definitions.  Front page of IQS has a "Request for quote" option.        caaiab
Thomas Register of American Manufacturers Green Library RRF T12.T6	Current	The major directory of American manufacturing companies, with selected catalogs/links available.  Products are arranged by noun then any adjective--for instance, look under "Pipe, plastic" not "Plastic pipe."  The web version also includes a directory of Canadian manufacutring companies.

Publishers' International ISBN Directory. Green Library REF Z282.P71 via K.G. Saur.	Current year	Lists publishers by country and their address, email, and ISBN.  Third volume lists publishers by ISBN.
Television & Cable Factbook. Green Library REF TK6646.T4 via Warren Communications.	Current year	Lists U.S. & Canadian television stations and cable providers, as well as related services.  For television, a full page for each station gives Nielsen DMA rankings and statistics in addition to personnel and broadcasting data. This entry also includes a map showing reception quality. Cable volumes give providers by city and what options they offer, including cost.
