Florida Statistical Abstract Green Library DESK HA311.F55 via University of Florida	current; older issues in DOC	This annual publication provides a wide array of statistical data concerning Florida demographics, business, and other factors.  Most tables are broken down by county or city.

Business NewsBank via NewsBank InfoWeb	1993-date	Produces articles from the business sections of 400+ U.S. newspapers as well as many local business journals.  As a result, one of the first places to go for information on private companies.  Includes Ft. Lauderdale's Sun Sentinel and Miami Herald, among other newspapers.  [caaiah]
Banks and S&Ls of Florida Green Library REF HG2611.F6BB36 via Sheshunoff/Highline Data	1998 - 2007	A collation of evaluative statistics about banks and their branches in Florida, published annually.  NOTE:  Replaced in late 2007 by BankSource, an online database by the same company.
BankSource via Highline Data	Current	FIU has access to the Bank and S&L segments of Company Analysis in Highline's BankSource.  This provides 60+ factors of data about individual banks and S&Ls throughout the United States.  Constantly updated.        [caaiac]
Florida Trend's "Annual TopRank Florida Book of Lists" Green Library DESK HD2709.A5 via Florida Trend	Current; older issues in PER	This annual collection of the largest, best, fastest, etc., covers banking & finance, real estate, construction & development, hospitality & travel, education, insurance, media & marketing, healthcare, business organizations, professional firms, employment, transportation & trade, business leaders, and some general interest list.
Harris Florida Manufacturers Directory Green Library DESK T12.F6 via Harris Infosource	Current; Older in UGEN	An annual directory of manufacturers; previous title (Directory of Florida Industries, T12.F6) included manufacturers, agriculture, and mining.
The South Florida Business Journal's Book of Lists Green Library DESK HF5001.S65 via The South Florida Business Journal	Current; older issues in PER	This annual collection of lists of the largest, best, fastest, etc., covers both businesses and people in South Florida (Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade counties.)  Lists are grouped into several areas:  Adverstising/media/retail; construction/design; educations & organizations; employment; finance; health care; hospitality; professional services; real estate; technology.
