Current   A huge database of financial data, company reports, performance graphs, and textual documents.  There are 2 methods of accessing this database:  1)Use the College of Business Administrations' WRDS system.  (Accounts are available to FIU students and faculty by contacting Prof. Clark Wheatley.)  The Library subscribes to the more complex Research Insight database system.  Contact the Business Librarian, Steve Morris (348-3134) to discuss access to this system.

Current   A major directory of American and Canadian manufacturing companies, with selected catalogs/links available.  Products are arranged by noun then any adjective--for instance, look under "Pipe, plastic" not "Plastic pipe."  The commercial web site is a directory of manufacturers and other companies, plus a number of other services, especially for CAD, architectural materials based on blueprints, and a link to a global version.  The main directory can be searched by individual states and provinces or by all (combined U.S. and Canada.)  The "green books" were well-known and required source for purchasers for decades, now available online.  Note:  Has a plugin to enhance searching for Firefox browsers.
