ABI/Inform. via Proquest.: This is a major index to business journals, especially research and scholarly journals, but also including business news sources. It contains lengthy abstracts on all citations, and the full-text is available online for many.
Business & Industry. via Galenet.: This database complements ABI/Inform by covering trade journals, as well as business news sources. Many citations include full-text of article available online.
Business Newsbank. via NewsBank.: An index and full-text database to more than 400 newspapers across the U.S. as well as numerous local business journals.
Investext. via Gale/Infotrac: A collection of investment house reports about companies and industries. Current two years only.
Mergents Online. via FIS/Mergent: Provides access for FIU students & faculty to Annual Reports, 10K Reports, and other corporate reports for all U.S. public companies, and annual reports for some international public companies. Additionally provides limited searching to databases, as well as other reports and research.
Statistical Universe. via CIS.: A database indexing statistical publications of the U.S. federal government, many international organizations, state governments, and some commercial publications. Accession number (beginning with ASI, IIS, or SRI) is keyed to microfiche collections in DOCS area.
Thomson Analytics. via Thomson Financial.: A current compilation of information from various corporate reports of all publicly-owned companies in the U.S. and many publicly-owned companies outside the U.S. Can be accessed and correlated by most financial figures, geographic location, officers, and major owners.
