Birth. November 27, 1662, Castle di Marino, near Rome. Of the family of the dukes of Sonnino. Other members of the family who were elevated to the cardinalate were Giovanni Colonna (1212); Giacomo Colonna (1278); Pietro Colonna (1288); Giovanni Colonna (1327); Agapito Colonna (1378); Stefano Colonna (1378); Oddone Colonna (1405; later Pope Martin V); Prospero Colonna (1426); Giovanni Colonna (1480); Marco Antonio Colonna, seniore (1565); Ascanio Colonna (1586); Girolamo Colonna (1627); Carlo Colonna (1706); Girolamo Colonna Sciarra (1743); Prospero Colonna Sciarra (1743); and Marcantonio Colonna, iuniore (1759); Pietro Colonna (1766), who took the last name Pamphili.
Education. La Sapienza University, Rome (doctorate).
Early life. Protonotary apostolic, June 1694. Vice-legate in Ferrara and later cleric of the Apostolic Chamber, during the pontificate of Pope Clement XI. Auditor of the Apostolic Chamber, 1721.

Cardinalate. Created cardinal deacon in the consistory of September 30, 1739; received the red hat and the deaconry of Ss. Angelo in Pescheria, November 16, 1739. Participated in the conclave of 1740.
Death. March 4, 1743, near 9 p.m., Rome. Exposed in the basilica of Ss. XII Apostoli, Rome, where the capella papalis took place, and buried in his family chapel in the patriarchal Lateran basilica, Rome.

Birth. September 1, 1689, Rome. Of a noble Roman family originally from Narni. His last name is also listed as Sacripanti. Nephew of Cardinal Giuseppe Sacripante (1695).

Early life. Coadjutor of his father as consistorial lawyer, 1709. Voter of the Supreme Tribunal of the Apostolic Signature, 1718. Cleric of the Apostolic Chamber, February, 1721. Elected by the Sacred College of Cardinals pro-treasurer general of the Apostolic Chamber during the vacant see, February 1730; confirmed by Pope Clement XII.
Cardinalate. Created cardinal deacon in the consistory of September 30, 1739. Granted dispensation to be a cardinal without having received the subdiaconate and diaconate, October 2, 1739. Received the red hat and the deaconry of S. Maria in Aquiro, November 16, 1739. Participated in the conclave of 1740. Opted for the deaconry of S. Maria in Portico, May 29, 1741.
Sacred orders. Received the subdiaconate, May 13, 1742; diaconate, May 15, 1742. Opted for the deaconry of S. Maria ad Martyres, April 10, 1747. Opted for the order of priests and the title of S. Anastasia, February 1, 1751.
Priesthood. Ordained (no information found); celebrated his first mass, March 21, 1751.
Episcopate. Opted for the order of bishops and the suburbicarian see of Frascati, January 12, 1756. Consecrated, January 25, 1756, Rome, by Cardinal Giovanni Antonio Guadagni, O.C.D., vicar of Rome. Participated in the conclave of 1758.
Death. November 4, 1758, Narni. Buried in his family's tomb in the chapel of Blessed Lucia di Narni in the cathedral of Narni.
