Birth. April 30, 1658, Pesaro. Cousin of Cardinal Gian Francesco Albani (1690), future Pope Clement XI.

Education. Studied together with his cousin. (No further educational information found).

Sacred orders. (No information found). Obtained a benefice in the patriarchal Vatican basilica, where his cousin was judge and vicar. Assistant of his cousin while he was secretary of Apostolic Briefs. Appointed secretary of Apostolic Briefs by the new Pope Clement XI, November 24, 1700. Referendary of the Tribunals of the Apostolic Signature of Justice and of Grace, May 22, 1706. Canon of the patriarchal Lateran basilica and pro-prefect of the Apostolic Palace.

Cardinalate. Created cardinal deacon in the consistory of May 6, 1715; received the red hat and the deaconry of Ss. Vito e Modesto, September 23, 1715. Participated in the conclave of 1721, which elected Pope Innocent XIII. Confirmed in his post of secretary of Apostolic Briefs by the new Pope Innocent XIII, May 10, 1721. Participated in the conclave of 1724, which elected Pope Benedict XIII Participated in the conclave of 1730, which elected Pope Clement XII. Pro-datary of His Holiness (?).

Death. February 9, 1738, near 8 p.m., Rome. Transferred to his deaconry the following day; the funeral took place on February 11, 1738; and his remains were buried in that same church.
