Call For Works :: Deadline extended to March 23rd!!!

This is an invitation to share and present short electro-acoustic pieces in a CD compilation of one minute works by students and alumni throughout Florida as part of the FEASt (Florida Electro-Acoustic STudent) Festival “Appetizers” CD. This collection is in anticipation of the 2010 FEASt Festival. The top ten one-minute pieces for the CD will automatically be included for performance at the 2010 FEASt Festival.

The adjudication of works and production of the CD will be directed by students at FIU.

Submission Deadline: Postmarked by March 23rd.

Submission fee: There is a $5 submission fee per work. Check and Money Orders are accepted. Make checks payable to Electro-Acoustic Research Society. Please do not send cash.

If selected, the shipping fees for two copies of the FEASt “Appetizers” CD will be waived.

All other requests for CDs may be picked up or mailed at the requestor’s expense.

Submission Format: A maximum of two pieces will be accepted. Each piece should be 1 minute in length. The submissions should be mailed on an Audio CD.
