TEXTBOOK:  Slonczewski + Foster, 2009.  Microbiology An Evolving Science, W.W. Norton Pub.  FIU Bookstore sells this at a price higher than suggested RETAIL!   From the publisher you can get the e-book (downloaded chapters for $2/chapter).  Unless you can get a good price on a used book on ebay, this is the best deal:  from www.wwnorton.com. 

Exams and Grading Policies 

PLEASE use the Textbook's (Slonczewski and Foster,2009, Microbiology An Evolving Science) Web Site for practice exams (multiple choice and written) for each chapter.  And, most importantly test your knowledge out with the book closed well before the exam.
