DCLA holds three programs a year to address issues affecting librarians and libraries DCLA conducts an annual workshop on current trends/future developments in librarianship Provides opportunities to exchange ideas Publishes quarterly newsletter devoted
to the discussion of library news and topics Holds Annual Spring Luncheon to address Association issues and hold biennial elections.
Knowledge update of library developments in the region Interaction among those interested in quality library services Support formal and informal library networks Opportunities to develop leadership skills Workshops, educational forums and meetings Voting rights and full participation in the governance
