Humanities

Two three-hour courses which deal with the examination of literature, historical documents, music, and art from a humanistic viewpoint. Most courses in the departments of English, History, Philosophy, and Religion, as well as the literature courses in Modern Languages fall within this category. Art history, music history and theatre history courses also apply. English composition courses do not meet this requirement.
