Liberal Studies Electives

May be taken in any department of the University. Students are encouraged to think seriously of their future career objectives in choosing their electives. Students are free to choose any combination of courses within these guidelines. Under the advisement of the Director or Associate Director of Liberal Studies, the student will be encouraged to pursue an individualized and focused program. No physical activity course in Physical Education applies. Liberal Studies students who plan to go on to graduate school should discuss this with their faculty advisor and choose an academic program that will properly prepare them for the GRE, LSAT, or the MEDCAT. Liberal Studies is a fine background for graduate and professional school, provided one wisely chooses one's courses.
