Remember to do your assigned homeworks for each chapter by clickinghere!

The homeworks that are given to you on this site under the link "homeworks"consist of sets of questions (mostly multiple choice) and they are not going to be graded. Please visit this website after the lecture for each chapter and before the recommended due date and answer the questions. I will post answers shortly after the recommended due date. It is good practice and fun, and it will prepare you for the exams!

In addition to these e-homeworks, I will also assign for each Chapter practice questions from your book, as posted in the Syllabus. The answers for those questions are given in the Appendix C (pp. A25-A35) of your textbook.

The "Chemistry for Changing Times Website" (public website) can be used for accessing the web-based material of the textbook, and for practicing.

It is strongly recommended that you do the homeworks and practice. Please also be advised that a large portion of the exam questions will be based on the homework problems and practice questions from the book, as assigned.

Are you sure your name is actually included in the classroll? To confirm please use frequently during the semester the secure FIU Student Information System. Please check after the due date for paying the tuition and after the midterm drop due date,  because then is when more of the accidental drop incidents occur. No matter how hard you study, if you are not enrolled you are not going to get a grade.  What a pity!
