Student Media Advising
Student Media Advising Program Sheet Designed primarily for journalism teachers and/or student media advisers on all levels, the program will train teachers/advisers or those aspiring to teach journalism and/or advise student media in areas relating to their everyday work in the field. In addition to the core courses, students in student media advising must take the following courses:
At least nine hours must be in an area of concentration outside the School of Journalism and Mass Communication. A minimum of three of those credits must be at the graduate level (5000 or 6000). In addition to the above listed requirements each student must complete a Professional Project or Thesis.
